One of the most recognised names in high-end retail, Harvey Nichols, tasked Parametric Walls with the challenge of creating an engaging and visually stunning heart-themed lit display to run the full length of their flagship Knightsbridge store’s display windows.

The brief required the design to impress from a close-up perspective and from across the street and there was a tight deadline to complete the full installation within a time frame of two days.

The Parametric Walls team worked diligently to create a design that would captivate the attention of passersby, whilst highlighting the luxury experience for customers within the store. Using their innovative design software, the team created a subtle heart-themed design that ran the full length of the display windows. The parametric panels were precision-cut and front-lit at their factory to create a spectacular visual impact and to ensure consistent quality.

The installation was a significant undertaking, given the size of Harvey Nichols’ flagship store and the limited time frame to complete it. The parametric panels were installed in each window using custom fixings and specialist glue, ensuring no gaps and creating removable sections for product placement. The specialist in-house installation team worked tirelessly to complete the installation, overcoming the challenge of time constraint.

The result was a visually stunning shopfront display that told a story from window to window – a true testament to the expertise and dedication of the Parametric Walls team. The display was not only visually appealing from a close-up perspective, but also created a striking impression from across the street.
